Bashkimi Evropian ka reaguar me shqetësim ndaj dekretit të ushtrueses së detyrës së presidentes së Kosovës për shkarkimin e prokurorëve serbë, si dhe ndaj vendimit të Këshillit Prokurorial të Kosovës, të marrë një ditë më parë, për të mos pranuar tërheqjen e dorëheqjeve të tyre.

Në një komunikatë për media, zëdhënësja e BE-së deklaroi se këto masa “duken të papajtueshme me ligjin, me procesin e rregullt ligjor dhe me kërkesat e përgjithshme të sundimit të ligjit në Kosovë”.

BE-ja ka përshëndetur vendimin e gjyqtarëve, prokurorëve dhe stafit mbështetës nga radhët e serbëve të Kosovës për të tërhequr dorëheqjet. Megjithatë, Brukseli rikujtoi se i ka kërkuar vazhdimisht Prishtinës të krijojë kushtet për riintegrimin e personelit gjyqësor serb të Kosovës, në përputhje me ligjet e vendit dhe marrëveshjet e arritura në kuadër të dialogut.

“BE-ja u kërkon të gjitha institucioneve përgjegjëse të shmangin çdo veprim që mund të pengojë riintegrimin e personelit gjyqësor serb të Kosovës. Kushtetuta e përcakton Kosovën si një shoqëri shumetnike të mbështetur në sundimin e ligjit, ndaj sistemi i drejtësisë duhet të pasqyrojë diversitetin etnik të vendit”, thuhet në komunikatë.

At today’s session, the Government decided to appoint Zllatko Perinski as Acting Director of the Health Insurance Fund of the Republic of North Macedonia. His appointment was made at the proposal of Health Minister Sasho Klekovski.

The government statement announcing the decision said that Perinski had completed a master’s degree in human resources management. During his professional career, he has served as Minister of Local Self-Government, headed the Public Enterprise “Water Supply and Sewerage” – Skopje as General Director, and worked as Manager of the “Boris Trajkovski” Sports Complex.

The proposal to appoint Perinski as head of the Fund was strongly opposed by the opposition, which cited the fact that he graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education./Telegrafi/

Vlora was gripped by extremely high temperatures this Tuesday, with the mercury reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius and prompting a major rush to the coast.

Arian Gashi, Chair of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), together with council members Arlinda Muqa, Visar Krasniqi and Milot Krasniqi, today received Milbert Domgjon Shin, Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), and representatives of the UNMIK Office.

The talks were held in a spirit of cooperation and focused on the current situation within the prosecutorial system, strengthening the rule of law and continuing interinstitutional coordination with international partners.

During the meeting, Gashi briefed the UNMIK delegation on the new composition of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and the completion of the procedure for selecting the new Chief State Prosecutor. He underscored the need for the institutions of the prosecutorial system to become fully operational.

The discussions also addressed the KPC’s continued commitment to ensuring an inclusive prosecutorial system, in which the fair representation of all communities remains among its institutional priorities. Gashi announced that the recruitment process for new prosecutors would open soon, with the aim of advancing their fair representation in the country’s prosecutorial system.

Referring to international cooperation, the KPC Chair thanked UNMIK for the continuous support it has provided to Kosovo over the years, particularly in the field of justice. According to him, this support has played an important role in establishing and consolidating justice institutions.

Gashi also reaffirmed the Prosecutorial Council’s commitment to respecting international obligations and standards. He stressed that, with the assistance of international partners, Kosovo has established an advanced legal framework, while the Council will continue working to further strengthen the rule of law through professionalism, integrity, impartiality and accountability.

For his part, Milbert Domgjon Shin, Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, praised the role and work of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council in ensuring an independent and efficient prosecutorial system. He stated that UNMIK values the Council’s commitment and the work of the State Prosecutor, expressing confidence that institutional responsibility and professional dedication would enable continued action to strengthen the rule of law and public trust in the justice system.

In closing, the UNMIK delegation once again confirmed its readiness to continue supporting the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and justice institutions, with the aim of advancing reforms and further strengthening the rule of law in the country.

The Performance Evaluation Commission held its latest meeting today, chaired by Elza Bajrami-Kastrati, with members Aleksandër Lumezi and Nazan Shero also in attendance.

As part of the performance evaluation procedure, the Commission began reviewing the criminal cases handled by Group IV prosecutors for 2026.

The discussions focused on ensuring that the case analysis proceeds smoothly and that the established standards and criteria are observed, with the aim of assessing prosecutors’ work objectively, professionally and impartially.

The Commission will continue to carry out its activities in accordance with its legal powers and work plan to ensure a proper, transparent process based on the established performance evaluation criteria.

QKUK-ja ka bërë të ditura hollësi për gjendjen shëndetësore dhe trajtimin e tyre.

Të plagosurit fillimisht u pranuan në Emergjencë. Pas kryerjes së ekzaminimeve të nevojshme, njëra paciente u dërgua në sallën operative të QE, ku ndërhyrja u realizua nga ekipet e Kirurgjisë Abdominale, Urologjisë dhe Anestezionit.

Pas përfundimit të operacionit, pacientja u transferua në MIQ, ku po vazhdon trajtimin.

Dy të lënduarit e tjerë kanë pësuar dëmtime të rënda trupore, por aktualisht ndodhen në gjendje stabile. Njëri po merr trajtim në Klinikën Torakale, ndërsa tjetri është hospitalizuar në Ortopedi.

Prishtinë, 21 Korrik 2026 – Arrestimi i një (1) personi është kryer sot pas veprimeve hetimore të zhvilluara nga Departamenti për Krime të Rënda i Prokurorisë Themelore në Prishtinë, në koordinim me Policinë e Kosovës, përkatësisht me Drejtorinë për Hetimin e Krimeve Ekonomike dhe Korrupsion në Prishtinë. Rasti lidhet me dyshimet për keqpërdorim të pozitës apo autoritetit zyrtar përmes tejkalimit të kompetencave, si dhe për falsifikim të dokumentit zyrtar.

Të dhënat fillestare tregojnë se hetimi përfshin dyshimet për dhënien e lejeve disa Operatorëve Ekonomik për importimin e produkteve biocide dhe pesticide. Përdorimi i këtyre produkteve është i ndaluar në Republikën e Kosovës, bazuar në listën e Agjencisë Evropiane të Kimikateve (ECHA) të Bashkimit Evropian.

Personi i dyshuar, me inicialet N.M, është nën hetim për “Keqpërdorimin e pozitës apo autoritetit zyrtar”, të parashikuar nga neni 414 i Kodit Penal të Republikës së Kosovës (KPRK), si dhe për “Falsifikimin e dokumentit zyrtar”, sipas nenit 427 të KPRK-së.

Policia e Kosovës e ka realizuar arrestimin, ndërsa Prokurori i Shtetit ka urdhëruar ndalimin e të dyshuarit për 48 orë.

Controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have appeared in a federal court in Miami, where proceedings have begun for their extradition to the United Kingdom over new charges, including rape and sex trafficking.

The two brothers were arrested in Florida by US authorities following an announcement by the Crown Prosecution Service in England and Wales (CPS) of 38 new charges against them.

They have repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and stated that they are innocent.

During their court appearance, Andrew and Tristan wore prison uniforms and were handcuffed and shackled at the wrists and ankles.

They spoke only to confirm that they understood their legal rights.

Their lawyer, Joe McBride, said after the hearing that the brothers would fight extradition and claimed that the charges against them were unfounded.

He described the proceedings as an unjust action against his clients.

According to British authorities, the latest charges relate to incidents alleged to have taken place between 2010 and 2017.

The number of alleged victims in the case has risen to seven, while the brothers face a total of 59 charges.

The next court hearing has been scheduled for July 27, while the final decision on extradition will be made by the relevant US authorities.

The Democrats had expected the Prime Minister’s Office to respond to the Czech MEP’s accusations against Edi Rama, but the reaction came from Parliament. Former minister Igli Hasani described him as yet another “delusional” and “stupid” person who, according to Hasani, publicly insults Albania.

Opposition representatives distanced themselves from the statements made by the chair of the Committee on European Affairs and Foreign Relations and called on Hasani to withdraw his insults against the MEP.

Albana Vokshi said that the opposition distanced itself from these comments and asked the former minister to do the same, as, according to her, such remarks damage the committee.

However, Vokshi’s request was rejected by the former foreign minister, who stood by his assessment.

Hasani said that anyone who makes absurd, ridiculous and filthy accusations against any Albanian, including the prime minister, is “stupid and delusional.”

He included the MEP in what he called the series of fools who appear before the committee every day, adding that he did not wish to have any contact with him.

After the exchanges concluded, the committee continued its meeting behind closed doors. The agenda included issues related to Albania’s negotiating position in the European Union.

North Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met with the President of the Republic of India, Droupadi Murmu, who is on a two-day official visit to the country.

During the meeting, they reviewed the state of relations between the two countries, with particular attention paid to opportunities for expanding cooperation in the economy, education, science, culture, tourism, healthcare and digital transformation.

Murmu described her first visit to North Macedonia as a historic moment, while expressing readiness to inject new momentum into the comprehensive partnership between the two peoples.

“We discussed several areas of bilateral cooperation and shared our views on regional and global issues of common interest. We reaffirmed the friendly relations between Macedonia and India, built on shared values and mutual respect,” Indian President Droupadi Murmu said.

For her part, Siljanovska-Davkova said the time had come for the economic partnership between the two countries to be elevated to the same level as their political relations.

“Of all the issues we addressed today, one took on particular importance. It is time for our economic cooperation to match the quality of our political relations. Zorica Zafirovska, an epidemiologist at the Public Health Center in Tetovo, said that the number of people seeking medical assistance following the water contamination in Gostivar had declined over the past 24 hours.

During this period, a total of 111 patients sought treatment.

“The number has declined over the past 24 hours. Another 111 patients sought assistance at the Infectious Diseases Ward in Gostivar, while 26 others came in for medical examinations. Seven new cases were registered at the Emergency Center in Gostivar, while 65 new patients were reported at the Pediatrics Department,” Zafirovska said.

She stressed that the situation was improving compared with the previous day. A gastroenteritis epidemic has been declared in the Municipality of Gostivar, while the epidemiological situation is being monitored continuously.

“Epidemiological investigations are underway, and samples are being taken for analysis, including stool cultures. We are currently awaiting the results of the samples collected,” the epidemiologist said.

The release of new documents by a U.S. federal court has revealed further allegations of rape, sex trafficking and physical violence against Andrew and Tristan Tate. The two brothers are being held in custody in Florida and are challenging the United Kingdom’s request for their extradition.

The court filings state that, according to British prosecutors, victims were choked until they lost consciousness, physically assaulted and raped. Following the new allegations, the total number of charges against the two brothers has risen to 59.

In Andrew Tate’s case, the documents contain allegations relating to two separate incidents. One woman says that in 2015, at her home in Bedford, he choked her until she lost consciousness and then raped her.

Another woman alleges that during an encounter in Manchester in 2014, Andrew Tate grabbed her and squeezed her throat during sex. She said the act left her struggling to breathe and fearing for her life.

Andrew Tate now faces a total of 42 charges. They include rape, human trafficking and assault, as well as charges related to indecent images of a minor and extreme pornography.

As for Tristan Tate, the documents allege that he repeatedly raped a woman with whom he was in a romantic relationship in 2012-2013. He is also accused of choking her until she lost consciousness, beating her with a belt and causing her serious injuries.

Tristan Tate is charged with a total of 17 offenses, including rape, sexual assault and trafficking.

Prosecuting authorities in the United Kingdom say they have witness testimony, electronic communications and photographs that they believe substantiate the allegations.

Andrew and Tristan Tate have consistently denied all the charges. Their legal representatives have said they will oppose their extradition to the United Kingdom, claiming the proceedings are politically motivated.

The two brothers were arrested in Miami on July 18 at the request of British authorities. In the coming weeks, a U.S. federal court is expected to determine whether the legal criteria for extradition have been met. At the same time, Andrew and Tristan Tate remain the subjects of criminal proceedings in Romania.
